Mercedes Benz SL320 - R129
1996 SL320 Cabriolet fitted with a M104 3.2 litre straight six engine. This particular car is in immaculate condition, having covered just 50000 miles in its 21 year history, and following a gentle restoration to the paintwork and interior by Turnbull and Oliver back in 2015, it is in a ready to go condition for a new owner. 1996 saw the introduction of the far superior 5 speed automatic transmission - which this car is fitted with.
Exterior
Recently detailed and with some areas treated to a professional respray (including both bumpers and door trims, as these had been incorrectly paiinted in the past), the exterior is in superb condition. The wheels are unmarked and have top quality Vredestein tyres, the rears being brand new and fited by Turnbull and Oliver, the fronts are recent with plenty of tread, there is also a new tyre fitted to the spare wheel. Finished in Burgundy metallic, the paint is flawless with no swirl marks!
Interior
The interior is of equal quality to the exterior, with a tasteful carpets and brand new cream MB OEM mats - a rare find these days that we acquired specifically for this car, and leather upholstery in mushroom beige, complemented by a chocolate brown dash top and steering wheel. All the wooden veneers are great condition, with no scratches or delamination, this all provides a tasteful and complimentary look with the Burgundy paintwork.
Fabric Roof and Hardtop
The electric roof mechanism has just been serviced by us, with the all important electronic module replaced due to intermitant operation. The black canvas material is in great condition, and the plastic windows are all in good conditioin. This car also comes with its colour matched aluminium hard top.
