This is probably the best SL320 we have seen, and looks and handles like a new car, even the door windows are unmarked with no scratches (it is fairly typical on this model for the door glass to be scratched, even on very low mileage examples).
This 1996 is probably from the golden era of R129, combining the smooth straight six M103 3.2 litre engine but with the later far superior 5 speed gearbox over the earlier 4 speed units. As with all R129 models a folding hyrdraulically operated soft top is standard, on this particular car the roof is in perfect condition and is complete with recently fitted new plastic windows. A matching glass panoramic hard top also comes with this car - this was a £2000 optional extra when the car was new.
As can be seen by the mileage this car has been mainly in storage for a number of years due to the previous owners ill health.
